Marcel Achard, Montreal animation/video artist now living in Val-David, has had one of his recent works selected for the "Fantome" contest of the Festival du Nouveau Cinema.  Marcel is especially close to our hearts not only because of his innovative artistic contributions, but also for his dedication to the Montreal computer graphics community, which includes serving for a number of years on ACM SIGGRAPH Montreal's Events Committee.
