Libre Graphics Meeting 2011

Developers and users of Free, Libre and Open Source graphics software will
meet May 10-13 in Montreal at the sixth annual Libre Graphics Meeting (LGM)
which takes place at École polytechnique de Montréal.

LGM 2011 will give software developers, artists, designers and other
graphics professionals the opportunity to collaborate and learn from each
other. LGM emphasizes the sharing of collective creativity, innovation and
ideas and is free for everyone to attend.

The Libre Graphics Meeting exists to unite and accelerate the efforts behind
Free, Libre and Open Source creative software. Since 2006, this annual
meeting is the premiere conference for developers, users and supporters of
projects such as GIMP, Inkscape, Blender, Krita, Scribus, Hugin, the Open
Clipart Library, and the Open Font Library who gather to work on
interoperability, shared standards, and new ideas. Work at prior LGMs has
pushed the state of the art in important areas such as color management,
cross-application sharing of assets, and common formats.

Previous meetings were: LGM 2006 in Lyon (France), LGM 2007 in Montréal, LGM
2008 in Wrocław (Pologne); LGM 2009 in Montréal and LGM 2010 in Bruxelles
(Belgique).

Activities are free, but one must register at
