The Montreal ACM SIGGRAPH Chapter pre-SIGGRAPH / end of season event (or Intertwingle Party for short) was a roaring success. Taking place at the SAT the evening of June 16 2006, the invitation-only VIP Lounge at 7:00PM was followed by a general attendance party which lasted into the wee hours.

The VIP Lounge included short presentations courtesy of Christopher Isaac Larnder, Juan Pablo Di Lelle (both representing Montreal ACM SIGGRAPH), Jean-Pierre Faucher (Alliance numériQC), Éric Goulet (Softimage|AVID) and John Attard and Marco Bernier (Hypgnosis SFX). The party featured VJs, DJs and a large dance floor; the bar section of the SAT allowed for further discussion, with demos of specific products including the XBOX360 on the large screen. Over one hundred people were present at the VIP Lounge, and were joined by five hundred more for the party.
