ACM SIGGRAPH Montreal is opening its 2005-2006 season with its traditional event: the SIGGRAPH Electronic Theater screening.

Experience the finest achievements in animation, visualization, simulation, visual effects, and technical imagery! This year's presentation includes selected works from the SIGGRAPH 2005 Electronic Theater as well as the SIGGRAPH 2005 Computer Animation Festival.

Join us and experience the highest standard of excellence in computer animation. In keeping with our tradition, the popcorn machine will continue to ensure that your sensory experience is complete and fulfilling!

The presentation will be followed by a very special SAT[MixSessions] presentation, in which DJS and VJs will digitally abduct and reconstruct the content of the Electronic Theater, mixed with live 2D and 3D imagery, before your very eyes! This session will be conducted by Dj Mr. Knobs, Dj Le Monochrome, Dj Quebec Connection, VJ jocool, Vj Ladyroll and a very special guest: MarXel 3D.

At this event, the projection space is designated as a non-smoking area. The bar and lobby areas of the SAT will remain smoking sections. The event content will be projected on multiple projection screens in the entire SAT space; to please all tastes, the volume in the lobby and around the bar will be kept at a more relaxed level than in the main projection room.
