Montreal ACM SIGGRAPH, the Center for Computer Research in Montreal (CRIM) and the CINQ invite you to a new kind of panel!

A serie of technologies developed by CRIM will be exposed to a panel of professionals in the field of video games, visual effects, animation and simulation. The objective of the panel of experts is to put forward ideas on techno-creative perspectives of these technologies and assess their potential for application within their own industry. The public will be invited to contribute to the discussion.

This event is open to all but aimed specifically at ACM SIGGRAPH members, industry professionals, researchers, professors and graduate students.

Inference of user behavior in video games

Multiplayer:

  • Inference of user behavior of a distributed application (this application can be a multi-player video game)
  • Behaviors inferred automatically by observing players (used for the analysis of the objectives sought by the players and the synthesis of "robots" used in the autonomous period of development and testing of the application)

Voice analysis "speech analytics"

  • Detection of emotion
  • Detection of the gender of the speaker
  • Identification of the speaker
  • Evaluation of pronunciation
  • Etc..

Video content analysis "Video analysis":

  • Detection and Face Recognition
  • Monitoring of objects / people on the move
  • Detection of facial points for the characterization of facial expressions
  • Analysis of the gaze
  • Etc..
